Grand Vanity

Grand Vanity now exists. A name which conjures up images of a giant dressing table. Like that dressing table, Grand Vanity may reveal it’s own reflection in song, and give a broad palette of colour to ornament the face of composition.

Putting such pretensions aside, we truly aim to make meaningful, melodious measures of music, presenting the world as we view it, and making a captivating sound.

With that in mind, new tracks are in progress from within the studio at the end of the yard. Currently, one is much inspired by the late Les Paul, but adds a smattering of ukulele, and a Casio synth from the ’80s.

A video for our song ‘Got A Nerve’ is due for release at the end of the month, and it makes us look very nice: all thanks to the videographic mastery of Luke Asa Guidici. It even has a Byker Grove-esque moment (for any UK readers).

And thus we ask that you find us on TwitterFacebook, Myspace, Bandcamp, and even the boring old World Wide Web, for it seems these are the places where information resides.

Be seeing you

Greg
